Fair pay for every play
Music discovery with a curator you can talk to.
Every track played means the artist gets paid, up to 10× what other streamers pay.
Your Playlister learns what you like and keeps your playlists fresh. No black-box algo force-feeding you slop.
Reach 30 seconds and $0.03 goes straight to the artist's wallet. No pooling, no delays.
$0.03 a play, against the $0.003–$0.005 a stream pays elsewhere. Same listen, ten times the support.
You see every play you've paid for. Artists see every stream as it happens.
Own your algorithm
Tell it what you're in the mood for and it finds fresh tracks from the genres and moods you ask for, and what you actually play. Save playlists for later, or enjoy an evolving list of new music all day.
Something for a late drive.
Less piano, and more like the third one.
How a play pays
Keep listening if you like it. Skip before 30 seconds if you don't.
$0.03 to the artist's wallet, $0.003 to TuneFair. On-chain and settled in seconds.
Their dashboard updates live as streams happen. No long waits for unverifiable reports.
For artists
Upload a track, publish it, and the next person who listens past 30 seconds pays you directly, with a transaction you can check yourself.
Illustrative figures.
The economics
That's the model: One flat fee on every play. No hidden charges.
Bars drawn to the same scale. Streaming shown at the top of its typical range.
Questions
You never need to touch it, but we do use blockchain technology behind the scenes to handle micropayments. Sign in with email or Google and we provision a spend-capped wallet for your account. Payments settle in USDC on Base so a three-cent payment isn't swallowed by fees. You see tokens and dollars.
We do at the moment, so listeners and artists don't need to hassle with blockchain tech, but there is full transparency. Keys are encrypted at rest and every listener wallet carries a hard on-chain spending cap, so the worst case is bounded by design rather than by trust.
Nothing is charged. Payment fires after 30 seconds of playback, and pausing doesn't count towards it.
Whenever they like, above a small minimum. Earnings settle into the artist's own wallet play by play, so there is no pool to wait on and no payout schedule to work around.
We're starting small but planning to grow. There's no cost to artists to sign up or upload and stream tracks, so we think the catalogue will expand organically.
TuneFair holds 9% of each transaction, $0.003 a play, to help us build out the platform and fund future growth.
We allow AI-generated tracks, and AI-composed ones, but we require every artist to be honest and mark their AI-made tracks as AI. If we find a track was AI generated or composed and it isn't marked that way, we'll mark it. Tell your Playlister if you want to avoid AI-created tracks and it will keep them out of your lists.
Our first version is web-based but we plan to release a TuneFair mobile app in the near future.
We're onboarding listeners and independent artists now. Leave your email and we'll tell you the moment it's live.
